A few months ago we shared the information that Shovel Knight a puzzle-type ‘spin-off’ would be launched soon. We knew his name but not exactly when he would arrive. Finally, the companies Yacht Club Games and Vine revealed the date on which Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon will be available: next December 13.
The shovel knight that we played as the hero of a 2D platformer in 2014 will now be battling enemies that appear within box-shaped dungeons. It will be the player’s duty to find a way to take care of several at the same time, otherwise it will be crushed by their number. Fortunately, the knight will be able to damage multiple enemies while forming lines or larger groups.
According to the developers, this game will be available in Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC (Steam) at a price of $ 19.99. However, on these platforms there is still no official conversion to Colombian pesos.
What will include Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon?
Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon will allow you to play not only with the classic protagonist, but with a total of 10 well-known characters in the franchiseto. With all of them you can live a story of advancing through battles with enemies that are falling like blocks in a dungeon.
In each combat, enemies must be aligned to deal damage in area. Defeating them will start dropping rewards such as gear, health potions, and temporary buffs to aid in combat. Of course, keys will also drop that will allow you to open chests with interesting prizes for the player.
Finally, it will not only have a story mode. A competitive mode of two players faced off will also be allowed.s, as well as a daily challenge “and more modes.”
