Konami has made a good presentation in recent months about its other ‘remake’ in development, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. This includes collector’s editions, improved gameplay mechanics, production videos, and a new trailer during the Tokyo Game Show. However, the release date had never been officially confirmed by Konami despite rumors suggesting the arrival of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
Via Twitter (via MGSMGN), a user who pre-ordered the game reported receiving an email from Amazon in which the estimated delivery date for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater changed to Tuesday, April 1, 2025. This is a definitely tentative date that falls just after the close of the company’s fiscal year. When Amazon does not have the official date of a product to preorder, it usually puts December of the year in question and the 31st of the same month.
In its financial results report last August, Konami suggested that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater It would not be released until after the close of the fiscal year, on March 31, 2025. This would give an important boost to the results of the next fiscal year starting on April 1, 2025, the date contemplated by Amazon and that may possibly move to some days or weeks later. Whatever the case, it is most likely that we will not see the ‘remake’ of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Konami also mentioned in one of its previous reports about the game’s news, that the official release date of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be revealed later this year. At Tokyo Game Show, the developers claimed to have a release framework in mind but were not ready to share it publicly. So a lot of stealth snake patience for all the expectant players on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
