Sony has shown the design of the boxes that the future titles of PlayStation 5.
The PlayStation 5 game boxes feature a continuous design compared to the PlayStation 4 and the only big change is found at the top, where the characteristic blue color gives way to white. It is the same color that dominates the design of the PS5 and the DualSens controller, as we were able to discover in the official presentation of the console.
The blue color is repeated in the plastic box, showing a small change in the lower right, where the logo of the development studio, Insomniac Games in this case, is accompanied by that of PlayStation Studios. In the boxes of PS4 games third-party the name of the developer is usually printed at the bottom center. In the first-party the studio logo has always been found at the bottom right.
We don’t see the Only on either, two words that on PlayStation indicate the exclusivity of a game, something surprising since in principle Spider-Man: Miles Morales It is only scheduled for release in PlayStation 5.
We remember that PlayStation Studios is the new label under which Sony Interactive Entertainment will release all games first-party for PS5 or other platforms. From now on, PlayStation Studios will appear in advertising and in animation that will be seen in all games released under its name. Everything seems to indicate that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be the first title that the PlayStation Studios brand will wear on its box.
