One of the main criticisms made against this game of Star Wars when it originally came out in August 2024 was how annoying it was to be detected in the mandatory stealth sections. The developers heard that and decided to fix it just in time for the game’s release on Steam. Update patch 1.4.0 Star Wars Outlawsreview here— is now available on all platforms and not only rebalances the stealth sections, it completely gets rid of those where stealth was mandatory.

After the update, if we are discovered in areas that used to be mandatory stealth – including syndicate territories within cities – we can enter combat instead of having to start that part over. They also added clearer notifications to indicate that enemies are aware of our presence and improved their AI.

Although many will surely welcome this change, I must be honest and confess that it seems unnecessary to me. The mandatory secrecy sections of Star Wars Outlaws They were few, relatively short and not too difficult. Plus, they fit well into the game’s plot.

After the update that is now available on all platforms we will not have to force Kay to use stealth in Star Wars Outlaws.

In addition to removing these parts of the game, they also improved character expressions, fixed multiple bugs, and rebalanced weapons. You can read the full patch notes (in English) by following this link.
