The previous video game starring the giant gorilla was not very well receivedbut here we have a new one that looks much better. Studio 7LEEVELS and Legendary Pictures announced Kong: Survivor Instincta ‘metroidvania’ style game developed in the universe of Kong and Godzilla.

As you can see, we are not going to control Kong or Godzilla, but a surviving human trapped in the devastation caused by the clash between the titans. The trailer shows him fleeing a building that is being reduced to rubble by an unnamed Spider Titan. Another reference to the film series can be seen on a building in the background, which has the Monarch logo.
Although we won’t control Kong, we can influence his behavior using a special device. We will also face Alan Jonah, the character played by Charles Dance who returns from the film Godzilla: King of the Monsters

The release date of the ‘metroidvania’ type game Kong: Survivor Instinct will be the Tuesday, October 22, 2024. It will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and for PC through Steam. You can now add it to your wish lists in the latter.
