the ‘Codename Nightmare’ event has been canceled

Canceled, codename, Event, Nightmare

In September, Ubisoft reported what would be the news that would come to The Division 2 With theto season 3 of Warlords of New York. At that time there was talk of a special event called ‘Codename Nightmare’ (Code Nightmare), but sadly it has been canceled.

What happened? The culprit is the usual suspect: the COVID-19 pandemic. During a live performance, developers at Massive Entertainment reported that “one of the consequences of how difficult this year has been for everyone is that we had to make changes to our plans,” referring to the cancellation.

Originally, the ‘Codename Nightmare’ event was to take place in the Kenley College (Washington) area in The Division 2 mid-season 4. Not much more detail had been given about it.

However, all is not lost and part of the content created will be used in an event focused on cosmetic items. This will come to The Division 2 on February 2, 2021, midway through Season 4. It will give players the chance to get special outfits for a limited time.

That same day we will have a patch for the game that will allow us to enjoy the title in 4K resolution and 60 animation frames per second if we play on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X.
