Older gamers and those interested in the history of video games may remember an Atari classic that asked us to land a small ship on increasingly difficult terrain using its thrusters to combat gravity. The game in question is Lunar Lander and we found out that the Colombian studio Dreams Uncorporated, which in 2022 won us over with Cris Talesis doing a ‘remake’.
The news about this ‘remake’, called Lunar Lander Beyond, came to us from Atari itself. The company published this trailer announcing the new title, although they did not show any gameplay.
In case you didn’t know it, the original game was like this. Video courtesy of Old classic retro gaming channel.
El ‘remake’ Lunar Lander Beyond in which the Colombian studio Dreams Uncorporated is working will give a deeper and richer story to the original concept. We will play a Captain of the Pegasus Corporation, who must lead a team of explorers through landing missions on various worlds after losing our planet.
This game will go on sale in the first half of 2024. We can play it on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and on PC.
