SNK released a dedicated website and a Twitter account (English, Japanese) in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of The King of Fighters -or simply KoF–. The first game in the series, The King of Fighters ’94was released in Japanese arcades on August 25, 1994 for the Neo-Geo MVS arcade. The final installment, The King of Fighters XVwas launched on February 14, 2022 globally.
The series The King of Fighters has become one of the biggest fighting game franchises, with numerous titles leading up to the latest release. This beloved series has spanned generations and transcended borders, creating a global legacy. SNK is committed to taking on new challenges and meeting the expectations of fans of The King of Fighters around the world. The celebration will be divided into several parts.
Part 1
