AAA, ages, anticipated, Civilization, Dark, DoOM, Fable, Fatal Fury, Games, Gta, Hunter, Ken Levine, , Monster, Wilds

We know it. We are all dying to finally try the long-awaited GTA 6. We also want to know more about long-awaited Silksong and that other great titles such as Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, Ghost of Yotei, Doom: The Dark Ages, Assassin’s Creed Shadows y Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. It would be no surprise to say that these are the most anticipated games of the year 2025, but they are not the only ones. There are other big, flashy AAA and AA games that are competing for attention and some of you may not know about them yet.

That's why we decided to make this list with the other most anticipated games of this year. Let's see what it is.

Tomb Raider IV – V – VI Remastered

The successful remastered version of the first three games starring Lara Croft was excellent and it makes us very happy that Crystal Dynamics and Aspyr have decided to do the same with the following games in the saga, originally released for PS1, Dreamcast and PS2.

Tomb Raider IV – V – VI Remastered It will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC on Friday, February 14, 2025.

Civilization VII

The king of strategy games is back and is one of the most anticipated of 2025. This new installment of the popular series created by Sid Meier will not only feature better graphics and improved gameplay with a simplified era system, but will allow leaders to be chosen independently of civilizations. It will star actress Gwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones, Star Wars) as narrator in English.

Civilization VII It will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC and Mac on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii

The prolific saga Yakuza/Like a Dragon surprised us with a 'spin-off' that gives the charismatic Goro Majima the prominence he deserves (well, he was already one of the protagonists of Yakuza 0but on that occasion he shared the spotlight with Kiryu). This time we have him turned into an amnesiac pirate in Hawaii. It will be an action beat em' up and not a turn-based combat RPG.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii It will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox and PC on Friday, February 21, 2025. You can learn more about this game here.

Fatal Fury: City of Wolves

It took SNK more than 25 years to remember to make a new game in the saga Fatal Furybut finally we will have a new installment of this series of fighting games because not everything is KOF in the world.

Fatal Fury: City of Wolves It will be released for PS4, Ps5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on Thursday, April 24, 2025.

South of Midnight

This is the long-awaited new game from Compulsion Games, the studio behind We Happy Few. This is an action adventure in which we will explore the legends of the southern United States as a young woman with magical abilities named Hazel.

South of Midnight It will be released for Xbox Series X|S and PC on an unspecified date in 2025..

Judas

Another of the most anticipated games of 2025 is the one that marks the return of director Ken Levine (Bioshock). It is a first-person adventure in a spaceship in which we lead a revolution against the individuals who direct it and the computerized systems that control everything.

Although no official release date has been given for Judasis expected to arrive in the first half of this year on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33

It's been a long time since we've seen an RPG with turn-based combat in this style. We are very excited to discover what secrets this adventure holds in which we must face a goddess known as the Painter, capable of ending the lives of numerous humans just by painting a number in the sky.

Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33 It will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on an undetermined date in 2025.

Fable

It seems unbelievable, but we are finally going to receive another game in this series. 15 years have passed since the launch of Fable III (although there have been some spin-offs along the way) and Playground Games is putting all its effort into creating a worthy successor to the work of Lionhead Studios.

Fable It will be released for Xbox Series X|S and PC on an undetermined date in 2025.

Those are the most anticipated AAA games of 2025 for us that are not GTA 6 nor the others that are always talked about. What are yours? We look forward to your comments.
