The new patch (7) for Baldur’s Gate 3 is now available and with it comes a large number of changes to the Larian Studios game, which the studio has compiled in over 10,000 words. Of course, we won’t list the changes one by one in detail, but we will tell you which ones are the most interesting.
Changes and news of the new patch (7) of Baldur’s Gate 3
One of the most striking new features—aside from mod support and 13 new videos for characters’ evil endings—is the inclusion of the Barbarian class, which comes with two subclasses: Berserker and Wildheart. Go Berserker They channel their fury into an unstoppable frenzy, dealing extra damage in battle and even using improvised objects as weapons. The Wildhearts, meanwhile, draw inspiration from the strength of animals, adopting ferocious combat skills and sporting unique facial piercings depending on the animal they choose as their guide.
The user interface has also undergone a major overhaul. A new quick access bar makes it easier to organize actions, spells, and items, while the character sheets and party panel have been combined to make managing characters and equipment easier. Additionally, search filters have been implemented to make finding items and skills easier.
Larian has revised and improved nearly 700 cinematics in the new patch
In terms of combat, it is now possible to throw ranged weapons and use environmental objects, animals, and even other characters as improvised weapons.
