Respawn and EA’s next game collection event has a ‘noir’ theme and style. We are going to reveal the details of ‘Shadow Society’, the return of the Containment game mode, new ‘skins’ and the date on which this event arrives in Apex Legends accompanied by the first Apex Artifact: the Cobalt Katar.
But first, a look at the event trailer.
When is the Shadow Society Collection Event coming to Apex Legends?
The event will start on Tuesday March 26 and will be available until Tuesday, April 16, 2024.
Limited time game mode: Containment
Many of you already know this way of playing. It’s a free-for-all battle between four squads. Players will start with standard DME weaponry and will need to search for capture zones in Thunderdome, Skull City, ZEUS Station, and Monument.
Points are earned for capturing areas, holding them, and eliminating other players. The first squad to reach 500 points wins.
First Apex Artifact: Cobalt Katar
In the Shadow Society collection event Apex Legends There will not be the traditional relic but the first of the Apex Artifacts: the cobalt Katar.
Apex Artifacts are new melee cosmetic items that can be equipped by any character from a new tab in the menu.
The Cobalt Katar can be obtained with a lot of luck through the event packs for a limited time. Sadly they cannot be obtained by obtaining all the cosmetic items of the event as was the case with the relics..
So what will we get if we manage to get all 36 cosmetic items from this collection event?
Event Items and Rewards
Every time we get a Shadow Society item in the event packs we will upload a pass with new rewards. We will get the following objects by unlocking 5, 10, 20 and all 36 objects.
We can also get cosmetics in an event rewards store with the points we earn by completing daily challenges. Store rewards rotate each week.
Let’s see how the community receives these changes. At least We hope that all security issues will be resolved by the time the event begins..
All these new features will be accompanied by a patch that will make several balance changes and bug fixes. You can read the patch notes in detail here.
