We already knew that a collaboration between Fortnite y Among Us It’s been cooking for a while and, although it hasn’t been officially announced, we can already take a look at the cosmetics and retro backpack that will be part of the ‘crossover’ thanks to a leak.
This story started in August 2021, when Epic Games added to Fortnite the temporary game mode ‘Imposters’, clearly inspired by Among Us. At the time, Innersloth’s community manager expressed disappointment that Epic hadn’t contacted them about an official collaboration. Epic Games immediately showed interest in working together.
Thanks to the well-known data miner iFireMonkey, we can take a look at the cosmetics of this collaboration. As you can see in the leak, the package of Among Us in Fortnite It will include cosmetics such as the ‘distract dance’ emote and the crew (or impostors) as a retro backpack with multiple styles.
At the moment we do not know if this collaboration will be limited to these cosmetics or if there is something else on the way. At the very least, we look forward to the return of the ‘Imposters’ limited time mode. We won’t know anything for sure until Epic Games makes an official announcement.
What we would most like to see is outfits similar to those we saw in the collaboration of Among Us with the mobile game PUBG: New State. Those ‘skins’ have some really fun designs.
