One of the great classics of the shooting genre from the arcade era (and the Dreamcast) will soon have an updated and improved version. The distributor Forever Entertainment and the developer MegaPixel Studio officially announced The House of the Dead 2 Remakerevealed the first trailer and gave details about its release date, platforms for which it will be released and the improvements it will have.

As you can see, this is a fairly faithful remake of the original game. It even retains the iconic and infamous English dub. It also continues in the same line of 'remake' of the first game that came out in 2022.
What improvements does the remake have? The House of The Dead 2
- Choice between remastered music or the original soundtrack.
- Improved graphics.
The game will also retain two-player cooperative gameplay, gameplay faithful to the original, and multiple paths to follow that can lead to different endings.
In addition to the classic campaign, it will also include a training mode and one with just the boss fights.
When is this remake coming out?
Although they did not give a definitive release date, we know that it will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and for PC through Steam and GOG in the second quarter of 2025.
