After several months of rumors and leaksBethesda will finally be worth not only to present its remastering version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivionbut to launch it immediately for PC, Xbox Series X | S and PS5.
You can see the revelation video with Spanish subtitles in Latin America below. In addition to presenting the details and improvements that the game has, it is a tribute to the 20 years of the game in which we can listen to many of the developers who worked both in the original work and in this new version.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered It was developed by Virtuos, a specialized study in making games for several consoles and remastering classics. In the presentation they showed how they used the Unreal Engine 5 engine to create incredible graphics and effects of more realistic lights, but keeping it absolutely faithful to the original title released in 2005.
But despite this supposed fidelity, there are notable changes in playability and mechanics. For example, the level to level up was changed so that it looks more like that of Skyrim. Although some players are celebrating this, others regret that something of the friction that made that special game is lost.
Among the other novelties are new voices for all races and new dialogues, although they celebrated that some of the most ridiculous lines are maintained and that generated memes in their day.
As we said, the remastered version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion It is already available for Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5 and For PC via Steam. In this last platform it has a price of 198,900 Colombian pesos.
