NetherRealm Studios has shared a new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1, in which you can see three new characters belonging to the group of main fighters. The new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 —called Umgadi— centers on Tanya and Li Mei, who are part of a group of royal bodyguards from Outworld.
How do Li Mei, Tanya and Baraka fight in the new trailer for MK1?
Baraka has also been present in the new trailer for MK1. The Tarkatan fighter returns with a handful of fast and brutal combos. Now in Mortal Kombat 1 Baraka can plunge his blades into the body of his opponents. However, it is unknown if this will inflict any type of damage on enemies during combat.
Li Mei is a character that hasn’t appeared in a franchise game since Mortal Kombat Armageddon. In the new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 We see how she uses kicking movements to subdue her enemy, while combining them with energy attacks.
In Mortal Kombat 1, Tanya keeps her moves gymnastics based. However, she does have a slight redesign on her main weapon. This is because now her staff is segmented and during the new trailer for MK1 we see how energy rings remain next to Tanya. It is unknown if these energy rings have anything to do with an additional mechanic to the character’s fighting style.
