Verdansk is a good map. It is a good size, it is full of interesting areas and we love it, but we have been playing in it for almost 10 months and we want something new. Fortunately, a new map is now available at Call of Duty: Warzone, its name is ‘Rebirth Island’ and we were able to give it a first look.
If we visit the official strategy guide of Call of Duty: Warzone we can find a new interactive map of Rebirth Island. Here we can know the areas of interest, discover where the shops and vehicles are.
Rebirth Island is an old Soviet base that was closed down by the CIA in the late 1960s. It was reactivated by Stitch in the mid-eighties to turn it into a laboratory for the manufacture of chemical weapons, specifically the deadly gas Nova 6.
The new map of Call of Duty: Warzone has a new gulag. This is similar to the one in Verdansk and, after being eliminated, we will have a chance to return to Rebirth Island by eliminating another player in a 1v1 combat.
The new map, Rebirth Island, is part of the joint first season of Call of Duty: Warzone with Black Ops Cold War, which started on December 16, 2020. To get started, you will need to download a 21GB patch.
