We have already talked about some of the changes and surprises that Respawn’s ‘battle royale’ has for us to celebrate its five years, such as changes to the shield system y free characters. Now it’s time to find out what the real celebration of the #5 anniversary of Apex Legends with a new collection event and the debut of the limited-time Direct Shot game mode.
To start we have a new gameplay trailer that summarizes all the news of the anniversary and the new season.
This collection event will be available from Tuesday February 13, 2024.
‘Anniversary’ collection event Apex Legends
As in other collection events, We can get 24 new cosmetic items in exchange for Apex coins or crafting metals and in the Apex packs of the event. But there is something different this time.
Instead of receiving a special relic if we get all the new cosmetics, what they will give us will be 150 Relic Fragments. With these we can unlock the relic or prestige aspect we want.

To celebrate the anniversary of its first five years, Apex Legends filled the new registry with cosmetic items created by artists from the game’s community of players.
You can see the list of objects that are part of the registry and the artists who created each one in the image below.
As always, we have to complete challenges and play the new limited-time mode to level up the log and get the rewards.

Limited time game mode: Direct Shooting
This will be a classic Battle Royale mode in Trios, but with shorter intense sessions with a maximum of 30 players. Equipment will appear over random points of interest, weapons that appear will be of different rarities from the start, and the starting circle will be centered on a smaller part than usual.
