Five months ago, Bandai Namco shared the first images of DLC 5 of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Now, the first advance of DLC 5 of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarotwhich will take place in the last story arc of the ‘anime’ Dragon Ball.
In the trailer you can see some of the ground fights that we can play in this new DLC. The fifth DLC of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will heavily focus on ground combat, which will take place in a tournament setting. The trailer has shown fights between Goku and Piccolo Jr. In addition, the fight between Tao Pai Pai and Ten Shin Han. Finally, there is a fight between Goku and a giant version of Piccolo Jr. and new mechanics, such as victories by ring- out and the knockdown count. It should be noted that these mechanics will be linked only to this DLC.
What will be the story that the new DLC will adapt?
The second DLC content of the season pass 2 of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot —or the fifth of the entire game— will adapt the Piccolo Jr. arc or the Tenkaichi Budokai tournament 23. This is the last story arc of the ‘anime’ Dragon Ball and starts in episode 133. In the ‘manga’ of Dragon Ball Piccolo Jr.’s arc begins in chapter 162 and runs until 194.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is now available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC. Additionally, the game in January 2023 had an update and now it runs natively for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S | X.
