The appearance of Hideo Kojima in The Game Awards 2022 meant the announcement of a new game, which ended up being Death Stranding 2, a title that was shared with an official trailer. The video ended up being one of many about announcements and news as Hades II y Street Fighter 6.
Since the release of Death Stranding, it could be said that Hideo Kojima’s actions had been a bit cryptic. Of course, there were no doubts with the arrival of the game on PC
Therefore, it was unexpected that three years later Kojima appeared on stage after suddenly showing the trailer for Death Stranding 2 at T he Game Awards 2022. However, he came forward to say that he could not reveal much about this title. Thus, he added that “some clues can be found in the video.”
Even so, the trailer is difficult to interpret. We see a Fragile (Lea Seydoux) carrying a baby when she is forced to run from something, but she is caught. Afterwards, there appears to be a time jump where she looks towards a large vehicle while Sam (who looks aged) comes out to see what’s going on. Finally, we see what appears to be the villain (or villainess) of the game.
The trailer for Death Stranding 2 it did not give any further details or show a possible release date.
