In DFO, Monk is a Priest whose talent lies in melee. By smashing his weapons into the ground, he creates a sacred ring, within which his stats increase. The Monk is also highly trained in evasion techniques, such as crouching, swinging, and strikes his staggering enemies with blessed force. Some of these characteristics are reflected in the movements that can be seen in the new trailer. This shows how Monk fights with movements very similar to those of boxing with a short and medium range. However, the damage done by the character’s blows is unknown. What is DNF Duel?
DNF Duel is a fighting video game co-developed by Arc System Works, Eighting and Neople. This game was published by Nexon and is a spin-off of the franchise Dungeon & Fighter. The game was released for PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on June 28, 2022. A year later, in April 2023, the version for Nintendo Switch was published.
Currently, Eighting—one of the developers of DNF Duel— announced at Jump Festa 2024 that They are working on a fighting game based on the ‘manga’ Hunter x Hunter by Yoshihiro Togashi. Other fighting games that Eighting has developed are Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom and the remembered and lost in time franchise Bloody Roar.
