A few days ago we presented a new short film by Apex Legends called Stories from the Wildlands: Evening of Combat. This one revealed juicy details about Pathfinder’s past, but it also opened the door for the game’s first event in 2021.
Fight Night will add a new temporary game mode, a city takeover, reward log, and cosmetic items to Apex Legends. Will start on January 5, 2021.
Supply Escalation Invasion
This new mode will be a kind of “invasion” of the normal game mode of Apex Legends. The main difference is that we are going to find a LOT more supply shipments. In fact, we will find a group of four supply shipments on the map as soon as we start the game. There will be more in all rounds, arriving at the same speed as Lifeline Survival Packs.
Each supply shipment will have a fully equipped weapon of different tiers depending on the round. Round one shipments will include tier two weapons and Round four shipments will include red armor and box weapons.
Taking of Pathfinder City
In the center of the map we will find the ring that gives its name to the Combat Night event of Apex Legends. When entering there, no player will be able to use their weapons or abilities. You can only fight with your fists! No projectile, grenade, or skill can penetrate the force field. Anyway, who would want to interrupt a classic boxing match?
Combat Evening Rewards Register
With the event comes a new reward registry with 24 limited-time themed cosmetic items. All of them will be available through direct purchase (with Apex coins or crafting metals) and will be available in the Apex packs for this event. You can see some of them here.
Those who obtain the 24 items of the event will receive the relic of Gibraltar. This will be available through relic crafting after the event ends.
