trio matches return to free battle royale and zero build

Battle, build, free, Matches, Return, Royale, Trio

In mid-May the players of Fortnite we got the bad news that Trios matches would be removed from Battle Royale and Zero Build modes meeting at the arrival of the ‘ranked’ or qualifying mode. The announcement did not sit well with the community, which began to complain about this decision by Epic Games. We don’t know if the constant requests for him to come back worked or if there’s something else going on behind the scenes, but threesomes are back in less than two weeks.

The announcement was made on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 31. through the game’s official Twitter account. This one reads: «Trios is back in the non-ranked modes of Battle Royale and Zero Construction. Come out now with your trio and get that battle royale.”.

Two weeks later, Trios matches are back in Fortnite's Battle Royale and Zero Build modes, but not Ranked or Ranked.

Ranked Ranked matches are still restricted to solos and duos, no trios.

Epic Games never officially explained the reasons why they had turned off trio matches. Some insiders argued that this was the least popular team size and that its absence on servers would be used to boost ranked. Others said that they simply wanted to encourage more people to play other modes.

Be that as it may, groups of three friends no longer have to leave one aside or look for a ‘rando’ to fill the team. From this moment we can play again the games of Trios in the Battle Royale and Zero construction of Fortnite.
