update 2.0 allows saving in the middle of a game

One of the most exciting exclusive titles for PS5 finally received a change that many players had requested. Returnal now allows you to use a full photo mode and save in the middle of a game thanks to the 2.0 update.

Suspend cycle

The new option that comes to Returnal 2.0 is called ‘suspend cycle’. By pressing the ‘Options’ button to enter the menu and select this new feature, we will record our state in the game to continue later at any time.

When we play again and restore the game, the suspend point is deleted and cannot be used again, but we can create a new point. We cannot save during boss battles, video clips, first person scenes, or during specific battles.

This option to save game / suspend cycle will be welcomed by many who criticized that the game sessions of Returnal

Photo mode

This is another new feature that we can access from the menu.

Thanks to the photo mode of Returnal, we can capture the beauty and intensity of the planet Atropos and highlight it with a good number of tools. We have several filters and options to modify the contrast, brightness, saturation and more characteristics of a scene to share it on social networks.
