If you played this recent Square Enix title, you were surely as intrigued as we were towards its antagonist. The Valkyrie Hilde, who impressed us with her design and abilities when we faced her in Valkyrie Elysiumwill be playable in a new game mode that arrives alongside more content in a free update.

When does the free update come out with Hilde from Valkyrie Elysium?
You can update the game with the new patch on PS4 and PS5, free of charge, from Wednesday, November 9, 2021. When the game releases on Steam next Friday, November 11, it will already include everything you’ll see here.

New character: Hilde
In the new campaign, called ‘Hilde’s Revenge’ we will control this Valkyrie in her crusade against the god Odin. To fight the enemies, we will use her characteristic halberd and we will have a different skill tree than the main character.
Hilde will not be able to summon Einherjar, but she will be able to summon shadow servants to aid her in battle and will have her own Divine Arts.
This mode will be available in the main menu after the update.
New game mode: Seraphic Gate
This post-game content will put your combat skills to the test. We will have to face several waves of enemies and defeat them in a time limit, but with a predetermined selection of weapons, divine arts and Einherjar that we cannot change. Every time we go up a level in this game mode, we will change our equipment.
New difficulty modes
The update adds the difficulties Very difficult y Valkyrie to the game, in case the previous options seemed too easy for you.
