On April 22 came season 3 of Call of Duty Warzone Y Black Ops Cold War and along with it an event awaited by the entire community: the destruction of the Verdansk map after the zombie invasion.
The destruction of Verdansk
On Wednesday, the players of Warzone they were able to join a special playlist called ‘Destruction of Verdansk, part 1’ (or at least they tried, there were a lot of problems connecting to a server). This seemed like a normal game, but the infection zones grew to fill most of the map. Players who fell in battle turned into zombies. Near the end of the game, an exfiltration request could be heard, but it was not possible to escape from the map when a nuclear missile arrived that devastated everything.

After that, the players of Call of Duty: Warzone they could not join lists in Verdansk. The next day the event arrived ‘Destruction of Verdansk, part 2‘, in which we played a night version of Rebirth Island, 15 minutes before the events of part 1. The objective was to find and keep in our possession the nuclear device that we would fire to destroy the other map.

This new map fits much better with the world of the cold war that we have in Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War. Almost all the areas of interest have been renamed and the buildings are completely different.

The new map is full of secrets. For example, we are going to find bunkers and hatches that, for the moment, are completely sealed. Will there be any interest in them when they open later?
