As every year, one of the most anticipated features of EA Sports football games is the, in some way, exquisite musical selection that we are used to and where songs like Song Number two, Ja Sei Enamorar, among others, have become worldwide hits due to their diffusion in the game.
And since its origins, the saga FIFAnow called EA Sports FC, has stood out for including little-known musical themes that later become global hits.A Sports FC 25 maintains this tradition of bringing little-known and somewhat experimental global artists with very good sounds that work very well for football.
This year we were surprised that in the selection of 117 songs, Kombilesa Mi appears, a group from San Basilio de Palenque, Colombia and although their music is not 100% palanquera, it is a fusion of RAP sounds with palanquera roots. With the song “LDN PLNQ”, the group offers a unique mix of rap and palenque that connects African roots with modern sounds.
The soundtrack also features guest appearances by well-known J Balvin and Colombia-based Argentine artist Delfina De. It also features styles from 27 different countries. Artists such as Billie Eilish, Coldplay, Elyanna and FKA Twigs are also part of this list. Of the 117 selected songs, three will be released after the game’s release, as they are not yet available to the public.
