PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will release a new limited game mode in PUBG Labs. What is released here is not exactly something that will be added to the game eventually, but it does have a good chance that it will. They are experiments that sometimes turn out to be unsuccessful, although this one seems to have what it takes to last.
For now, the horde mode is available on PC and will only be until August 16, while console users will have to wait until August 12, although they will also be able to play longer, until August 23.
Back to basics
The horde mode consists of being part of a team of four players in which you will be thrown against groups of zombies that we will have to eliminate by rounds. In total there are 10 rounds in which we must kill them all or that at least one of our allies survives until the counter reaches zero.
We will start the game with a Deagle, a 60EA .45 ACP, a Level 3 Backpack and a fragmentation grenade. But we can significantly improve our power with the Survival Coins that the zombies will leave behind. With these we can access a store with many resources to continue advancing.
And it is that each round the zombies will be more difficult, so we will need to improve our team to reach the last round. Of course, it is worth noting that we will not win anything at the end of the game, this is a PUBG Labs game mode, so for now it will not give us experience or rewards.
However, if you end up liking it, we will likely have a more consistent mode in the base game, which would add variety to Krafton’s battle royale.
