Dark Crystal: The Age of Resistance Tactics arrives tomorrow, and as you may have guessed, that means you will come up with a face-to-face strategy battle with some of the worst young men of all guesses: Skeksis.
If you're not familiar with the series or the original movie, the Skeks are the bad guys in Jim Henson & # 39; s The Crystal – a twisted, almost maniacal creature that dominates the Terra with iron fists. However, because they die a little, they know their rule is about to end, and they are determined to stay in power … even if that means doing some gruesome tests in their loyal Gelfling subjects!
Once the truth is out, the Gelfling teams find themselves in conflict with their Skeksis bosses – which means that if you're going to fight them in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics, you'll need to know what to expect!
Chamberlain
While the Chamberlain can deliver some serious hits while fighting, the real danger he faces is using "Please, please" (his signature phrase) to confuse some of your best heroes. And worst of all, he can use "Skeksis, Friend …" to turn Confused heroes on him! Your best friend may just be your worst enemy – so don't count on any single hero to get you in a battle with Chamberlain on the battlefield!
The hunter
One of the most fearsome Skeksis around, Hunter is fast and deadly. His “Leap Away” ability allowed him to get out of his reach… which he followed with “Dead Plunge,” skipping back go anywhere on the map and It surprises everyone in the vicinity. Between that combo and his "Cleave" ability, your best bet is to spread damage reduction … and even then, you may want to sacrifice one of your heroes as a distraction.
General
As his name implies, the General is a master of strategy and strategy, which means he can use his "Command!" Powers. Allowing his opponents to evolve quickly, or his "Motivation" ability to reduce opponents' defenses and defenses, as well as Deliver them (preventing them from using their abilities). Generals also hit harder than any other Skeksis, so make sure you have one!
He is a scientist
Against the weakness of Skeksis, Scientist relies on his devices and alchemical concoctions – such as "Explosive Cask" and "Salt the Earth" – to deal damage at long distances or Poison tiles, forcing heroes to choose between hurting everywhere, or traveling long distances to reach their goals. Make sure you have someone on your team who can remove the negative effects of a bad situation!
Not at all everything of Skeksis to deal with, but these are the skills that will be most apparent to you from the beginning. In time, however, you will have to fight against the Emperor himself … and you will fight the mightiest battle!
The Great Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics will be available in the PlayStation store starting tomorrow.
