Fuse hasn’t delivered the expected results so far, but developer Respawn is willing to take action to improve the Apex Legends character. According statements offered by Daniel KleinSenior Game Designer at Respawn Entertainment, the character Fuse has the lowest win rate in the game, even below Rampart.
Everything seems to indicate that Fuse’s problem is his lack of mobility, something unthinkable in a game as dynamic as Apex Legends and this is what has also been happening to another character like Rampart. Unlike other characters, these must be in the same place for a long time to make the best use of their abilities.
On the other hand, other characters do not present this problem, since the players mobilize them constantly around the entire game map. In the specific case of Fuse, he can move without hesitation but when he does it around the map he lacks ability, which makes him less agile.
However, Daniel Klein said that a character should not have excessive mobility either, as this would mean that he cannot attack as effectively as one that does not move as much. He took the opportunity to talk about other characters like Horizon and Octane who are being taken away “a little energy“.
Other less popular characters
Although many find it difficult to believe, not always the characters that are not so popular in the gaming community, mean that they are the worst, because they are not. As an example are Wattson and Crypto, who are not very popular among players but have an excellent player rate.
Although in this season 8 of Apex Legends, Fuse is the character that is occupying the last place in the win rate, he is quite popular with players and the plans they have for him are expected to be more effective.
