Ninja Theory has published a new videor revealing the details of the new Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice update. The third-person adventure game was released four years ago and is considered one of the most innovative titles of the past generation.

Now, thanks to backward compatibility, Xbox users can enjoy it today in higher quality. Those who had an Xbox One X could play it at 4K and 30 FPS, but with the new exclusive update of the next gen, they will be able to play it at 4K and 60 FPS or with Ray Tracing at a lower resolution.

Considerable improvements

The title was not exclusive to Microsoft, however its sequel was, and for now so will these functions that can only be enjoyed by those who have an Xbox Series X or S. As we can see in the image, each console will have three graphic modes, one for more FPS, one for visual fidelity and one with Ray Tracing. The latter will force the game to go at 30 FPS all the time, so we imagine a pretty noticeable implementation.

Another striking aspect is that on the Xbox Series X we can play up to 120 FPS with the performance settings. In this one we will play at 1080p dynamic resolution and we will be able to enjoy the game on screens that offer 120 Hz, it will not be worth it on televisions with a lower refresh rate.

Arte de Hellblade,

The difference in power is noticeable between both consoles when we see that in the same configuration the S Series only reaches 60 FPS. For its part, in the fidelity configuration without RT, the S Series will reach 1440p dynamic and the X Series at 4K dynamic.

Finally the Ray Tracing will run in the X Series at dynamic 4K and in the S Series at “Full HD” which is 1080p.

The update is available right now, so you already had the game on Xbox One, you can play it on these consoles without paying anything else. There is an update planned for PC, but there is no news if it will make it to other platforms such as PS5.
