Toho Animation featured a new preview of the movie Shika no Ou on their YouTube channel.
Also known as The Deer King, it is one of the most anticipated films on the Japanese animation scene. Based on the series of novels produced by Nahoko Uehashi in 2014, which acquired a stir in the land of the rising sun.
In this new preview we see more of the moving story that Production IG adapts, directed by the great director Masashi Ando, with a long career in the industry and legendary works as a character designer in works such as Mononoke Hime and Paprika.
But Ando will not be alone, since Masayuki Miyaji will take the role of co-director with the living legend, being one of his most frequent collaborators and his right hand with the position of assistant director in Spirited Away.
For his part, Taku Kishimoto, who usually writes for anime like Haikyu !! and Fruits Basket will be responsible for writing and supervising the script for Shika no Ou.
