New announcements keep coming for the premiere of Melty Blood: Type Lumina.
This time we have the sisters Kohaku and Hisui, the servants of the Tohno family, who assist the brothers Akiha and Shiki. The redheads will be featured in the fight title as a unit.
Using their specific powers to dominate the rest of the cast of the game, they seek to create a particular style of combat with both sisters, allowing a versatile gameplay for this title.
Hisui y Kohaku
The red-haired sisters are an essential part of the Tohno household, being brought to this family by Patriarch Makihisa. Both with a power of synchronization that allowed the family leader to control her body, Kohaku sacrificed herself as the only abused of the sisters in exchange for Hisui having a quiet life.
With diverse personalities, these tend to surface and connect with each other when in private, as well as through Shiki’s actions in the original visual novel.
Tsukihime y Melty Blood
For those unfamiliar with this saga, Tsukihime is one of the stellar works of Kinoko Nasu, star author of the Type-Moon team, who along with Fate / stay night greatly altered the narrative of Japanese anime and video games for the 21st century.
With lengthy storylines, multiple ramifications, and a persistent confidence in the canon of his stories, even when they are modified. Such is the case with Melty Blood.
The Tsukihime spinoff leaves the drama of the visual novels to take a step towards a fighting game, where the protagonists can in fact resolve their conflicts directly with a fist and a clean fang.
Melty Blood: Type Lumina will be the eighth of these titles, marking a return from more than 10 years of absence. Having its premiere scheduled for September 30 of this year.
