Bungie regained control of Bungie 2 a few months ago following the agreement it reached with Activision. This has allowed the creatives to implement all the plans they had in mind, but which were discarded by Activision decisions.
It will have happened to more than one user that they are logging into Destiny 2 and discover that the servers are under maintenance. This is something that can be quite annoying so from PlayerOne we want to tell you how to know when the servers are down.
In case of suspicion that the Destiny 2 servers are under maintenance, the first thing to do is go to the Bungie server status and updates page on their help website. In this portal we will find the scheduled times in which the server will stop working. These scheduled maintenance usually occur on a weekly basis and with each of them certain functions of the game are no longer available.
The second option we have to verify if the servers are down is to go to Twitter, specifically in the account of BungieHelp. Every time the servers have a problem, we can find information related to the servers in this Twitter account. Here we will know the duration of the error or the maintenance so that we can play calmly once it is ready.
Finally, the third option that we have at our disposal is to consult in DownDetector, a web portal that detects when servers are down for most Destiny 2 features.
So there are not many excuses that are worth at the time of being able to see if we can enjoy Destiny 2 in a raid, Iron Banner or in the crucible with our friends who also have a copy of this beloved Bungie game.
