PlayStation is preparing an asset to be introduced to counter Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft’s popular subscription service for Xbox consoles, PCs, and Android devices.
In the same interview In which he was asked about the possibility of any Bethesda game being left out of PS5, Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, was asked about the Xbox Game Pass and if there are plans to react to that subscription service .
When asked if PlayStation would respond to Game Pass, Ryan did not share anything specific, but assured that they are preparing some great news.
“We actually have news on the way, but not today,” Ryan said.
“We have PlayStation Now, which is our subscription service and is available in various markets,” added Ryan, suggesting that the existing service will be part of the answer to Microsoft’s.
Will PS Now start getting news at launch or is Sony considering integrating with PS Plus to expand the number of subscribers?
