Motive Studios has published the details of the new update that will be available in Star Wars: Squadrons on November 25. This will bring a new map, the seventh in the title, and several new components that promise to bring variety to space battles.
The map, called Fostar Haven, is based on the first area of the main story prologue, so solo players will already be familiar with the location, which has been slightly modified to suit multiplayer.
Within a week
In addition, components for the classes will be added. These are the Boos Extension Kirt for Fitghters and Bombers that gives you a temporary speed boost that can be used multiple times; the Ion Rockets for the Interceptors, which are rockets that move very slowly but can be used in conjunction with other components to destroy enemy shields; the Prototype Piercing Torpedoes for Bombers and Fighters that basically attack mother ships without the shield preventing the year.
Finally, the Material Rocket Turret also arrives for the U-Wing and TIE reapers who can use it to attack giant ships and destroy other people’s turrets.
On the other hand, in December we will receive another update with new ships, the Defender as a variant for the New Order and the Blade Wing as a variant for the Republic. These will be accompanied by a highly requested game mode, custom games that will allow us to prepare special 5 vs 5 fights and even modify the level of the shields, the speed of the ships, the power of the components and many more things to adapt the game to the wishes of your group of friends.
This is clearly one of the best additions so far and is likely to generate a competitive goal leading to tournaments in the game. Star Wars: Squadrons is available right now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, and PC.
