If you have ever wondered how change the region of your PS4 or change your language, today we will explain how to do it. At first, you could only access the PlayStation store that was assigned to your account and that was given both by your country of origin and by the selected language. Therefore, if we created an account in Spain, we could not access content that was not from this region.
The arrival of the update 6.20 It has unlocked new features such as the ability to change the region and language, regardless of the settings that have been made in the console. In order to make a correct change of language or region, you must two easy steps:
Access the Playstation Store and swipe to the left column, where the menu will be displayed.
Scroll down or until you see the option Store Region and click on this.
Now another screen will open where we can choose both the store region and its language. Select the desired options and press the button confirm.

Thanks to these simple steps you can visit stores in other countries and see the content they offer since, in principle, Sony does not allow downloading of content from other stores in other regions. An option that may change in the future.
Also keep in mind that once the region is changed, the language options will be limited to those available in that country. If we change, for example, from Spain to France, Spanish will disappear from the menu and will be replaced by French until we change the console back to our original region and its respective language.
