‘Selection Project’ revealed a new promotional trailer that shows Suzune Miyama’s path from her beginnings to the stage of the most popular reality show of the moment.
Just over a minute and a half long, in the video you will find Miyama reaching her dreams after spending her childhood in a hospital bed with the only company of her favorite idol songs.
It is thanks to them that once the cheerful protagonist manages to leave the clinic, she is ready to try her luck in the seventh edition of the reality show that seeks the most talented young women to turn them into stars.
Suzune, played by Hinaki Yano, will compete alongside seven contestants for the top prize of which her voice actresses were previously revealed and they are:
- Nozomi Nagumo como Hiromi Hamaguri
- Ruri Arai as Nagisa Imau
- Hina Youmiya como Nodoka Yagi
- Yuka Iwahashi como Ao Yodogawa
- Mizuna Shirakawa como Uta Koizumi
- Miharu Hanai como Shiori Yamaga
- Shino Shimoji como Mako Toma.
In production you will find Daisuke Hiramaki (‘Koisuru Asteroid’) directing at the animation studio Doga Kobo, while Dandelion handles 3DCG effects.
Yuuya Takahashi excels in series composition, while Kanna Hirayama (‘Kanojo, Okarishimasu’) and Yūta Sakashita (‘Wave Surfing Yape!’) Are designing the characters and Yōhei Kisara is in charge of the musical composition.

Held every summer, the national “Selection Project” is the largest gateway for girls striving to be idols, and the birthplace of legendary idol Akari Amazawa. Suzune Miyama has also yearned for a dream stage. Sick since childhood, she heard Akari singing many times on her bed in the hospital room. Akari’s voice gave her many smiles and courage, inspiring Suzune to follow in her footsteps.
