Bad news for fans. ‘Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari Season 2’ (‘The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2’) postpones its premiere until April 2022.
The announcement was published last Tuesday through the official adaptation page from the second season of Shield Hero, catching fans who were expecting his return in 2021 by surprise.
It was previously announced that Naofumi and Raphtalia’s adventure would begin its broadcast in the fall season, now leaving fans on hold for the next nine months.
So far the official reason behind the delay of the release of ‘Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari Season 2’ is unknown, but there is a high probability that the State of Emergency in Japan is the cause.

With so many details uncertain, it’s best to focus on what we know this second season of the Shield Hero brings us, starting with the change in his direction from Takao Abo to Masato Jinbo.
Jinbo will perform his work at Kinema Citrus and DR MOVIE studios accompanied by Keigo Koyanagi, who returns once again to take charge of series composition.
Masahiro Suwa again adapts Seira Minami’s original character designs for animation, while Kevin Penkin composes the soundtrack.
The streaming service Crunchyroll will take care of its distribution in the region, with the simulcast mode, which means that the episodes will be available within hours of their premiere in Japan
While you wait for its premiere, you can enjoy in the orange service of its first season, composed of 25 episodes in total and that aired during the winter season of 2019 causing a great commotion.
