Iconic scene from The Last of Us remastered on PS5

The Last of Us Part 1 would already be ready to launch

One of the most popular games in all these years has been The Last of Us Part 1, it’s a title that apparently emerged after Sony got their hands on one of their support studios, Visual Arts, who were doing this remake on their own. And before that, it must be said that the project ended at Naughty Dogthese being the creators of the original title.

For all this, after several months of rumors, we could see that The Last of Us Part 1 was announced at Summer Game Fest, although hours before it was leaked by PlayStation itself on its official website. Anyway, the project was in its final stages of developmentbut it was today when they announced that it has reached the gold stage.

Twitter post

The Last of Us Part 1 would have been developed without crunch

For those unfamiliar with the term, please note that the golden phase is the one the games reach when are ready to go to marketso that we can play without problems (in most cases) the title from beginning to end without further ado updates

than those needed on or after Day 1.

For all this, it seems that The Last of Us Part 1 would arrive in stores without delay. And in the same way, it should be noted that there is double good news today, since, as you can see in the tweet above, one of the members of the development team stated that this is the first game he plays without crunch

.

The latter is a measure that is taken in some developments (more than we would like) for which the developers devote themselves marathon work days which exceed 10 or even 12 hours of continuous work, this being one of the biggest critics of the second installment. Therefore, it is appreciated that the team of The naughty dog solves this problem.

Otherwise, it only remains to note that The last of us part 1 will embark on PS5 and PCtherefore being the version for the Sony console will be released on September 2, so you just have to wait a little over a month and a half to be able to have it in store. On another side, nothing is known about the PC version beyond that, it is in full development.
