Episode 2 of Techland’s Dying 2 Know series is coming next month.

Dying Light 2 developer Techland has announced in a press release that the second episode of their show Dying 2 Know is coming next month.

Not much else was shared in the press release, although rumors suggest that the show will focus on the different types of infected that you will encounter throughout the game. The broadcast will premiere on July 1 at 12 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. CEST and you can watch the show on Techland’s official Twitch channel. The broadcast will be 30 minutes long and will not have a pre-presentation, so make sure you arrive on time so you don’t miss a thing.

Techland’s candor about the development of Dying Light 2 has been quite refreshing, and as a result, we know quite a bit about the world of Dying Light 2. For example, a couple of recent Q&A videos revealed a number of interesting facts about the game, including a lack of firearms and the size of the game map.

We also get an outline of the story from these Q&A videos. Set 20 years after the events of the first game, Dying Light 2 has you playing a freelance racer named Aiden Caldwell. Like Caldwell, you will find different factions that you can work with that will change the appearance of the city you explore. We also discovered that characters from the first game will not appear, although they will be referenced.

Hopefully, this new broadcast in early July will offer even more information on Dying Light 2 and what to expect before the game’s launch.

After the lack of news for a significant amount of time, the official release date for Dying Light 2 was finally announced last month. Barring late delays, Dying Light 2 will be released on December 7 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

Those who play on older systems will be delighted to know that Techland also recently confirmed that anyone who plays the PS4 and Xbox One version of the game will be able to upgrade to the next-gen version for free once they purchase a PS5 or Xbox Series. X | S.
