Ubisoft has used the Prince of Persia’s official Twitter account to announce the second delay of the remake, one that may be for the best, although we will only know when the game releases. The French company announced the remake of Sands of Time at the end of last year and revealed its release for January 21.
However, as we got closer to the date we knew very little about the game, so a delay was suspected, something that has become common since the coronavirus forced many to work from home. Finally the game was delayed until March, and now in February a second delay is announced again.

Criticism for the quality of the character models, graphics and other elements that were seen in the first trailer are most likely the cause of these delays. The community did not like the art style and graphics of the game at all, so the memes quickly reached the YouTube comments of the trailer

The initial delay was not enough, at least it seems so, since this second postponement of the launch should not pay off for Ubi. However, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is one of the most iconic games of the developer, the title received reviews above 90/100 at the time and basically made the franchise relevant in a 3D environment.
So, as they say in the new statement, “It is the passion of the players that drives development forward,” and if the players have doubts, we would be facing an economic failure. They also add that they will take the release of the game to “a later date”, so this time there is not even a release window, we will have to wait.
