The Witcher returns to Netflix this December 17

December, Netflix, Returns, Witcher

Our favorite monster hunter returns to close the year 2021, with the second season of The Witcher.

The new edition of the Netflix series was announced during the WitcherCon digital event, where CD Projekt Red and the show’s production shared their space to give their fans a space to celebrate the series.

The announcement was quickly replicated by the Twitter account Netflix Geeked, with a promotional poster with Geralt and Ciri with their backs to the camera. But that was not the only thing that this event left with respect to the series.

We can see its opening cinematic, showing the white wolf (Geralt), the swallow (Ciri) and the crow (Yennefer) meeting in the stars. Also adding the titles of each of the episodes of the new season of this lavish series.

As if that were not enough, several captures of the various events were shown, such as Ciri training in Kaer Morhen, sword to sword against Geralt’s partner, Lambert. If that’s not enough, we can see the return of our favorite chaotic bard, Dandelion, wearing his best clothes and singing his heart out.

With all this in mind, we can only wait for what will come with The Witcher, which represented a gigantic boom at the end of 2019, to the point of giving record sales figures to the games in the series, despite the fact that its foundation is in Andrzej Sapkowski’s series of books, which also boosted sales strongly in the months following the series’ premiere.

After flirting with a premiere period in the “last quarter of the year,” it is now clear to us that millions of people will spend their Christmases enjoying the adventures and drama of the White Wolf and the Girl of Destiny.
