Fortnite is in for a great time with Kratos debuting in battle royale mode and rumors that Halo’s Master Chief and Samus are also coming very soon. However, as usually happens in this type of games that are updated every week, a new bug has been discovered that can be very annoying.
This may attract more attention than expected since it happened to a player who is more or less known outside of the game since he usually filters many things through datamining. We mean Monkey who used the same medium he always uses to reveal leaks, your Twitter account
Invisible and invincible
At first it seems like a very specific bug, but several users have reported that they have gone through similar experiences only that they did not even know what had happened and they thought it was a connection error.
Players are becoming Invisible or having Godmode due to the quicksand.

Monkey’s video shows how another player is initially invisible as Monkey is shot from an unknown location. Shortly after the enemy appears in front of a wall looking towards it, but Monkey’s shots do not hurt him. However, the dataminer does take damage constantly even though the enemy is not seen firing at any time.
At the end of the video Monkey tries to take cover behind a wall but his enemy shoots right at his chest despite looking at a wall all the time. From the reports of other players we can infer that it is a bug related to the arena and that bots (players controlled by artificial intelligence) can also take advantage of.
If we check the Epic community on Trello We will see that there are no reports of this bug yet, so it is not a priority right now. Hopefully with the virality of this video clip it will soon be.
