The next few weeks are key for the ‘Scarlet Nexus’ franchise with the launch of its JRPG and the anime that complements its story and here we will tell you everything you need to know.
Bandai Namco promised us a futuristic title that shows us the highs and lows of humanity’s technological advancement, when after discovering the psionic hormone, people were granted powers that go beyond.
As we all know, “great power leads to great responsibility” and psionic hormone users quickly find out, fall mutants known as “others” with a great appetite for their brains.
Just when the battle is at its most critical point, humanity discovers that there are humans with greater power, which under the name of Psionics, are the first line of defense of the ‘Force of Suppression of the Others’.
This is where the game begins, where you can choose between Yuito Sumeragi, an energetic recruit from a prestigious political family, or Kasane Randall, the mysterious explorer whose power and skill have gained great notoriety among the FSO.
Everything the Scarlet Nexus game offers
When we talk about the title available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, there are several options that the game offers when starting the mission and one of the most prominent are its battles.
Endowed with psychic powers, your character will have the ability to manipulate objects, lift them, break them and throw them in order to win each of the battles against huge creatures.
If this weren’t enough, the stage gives you a glimpse of the futuristic Japan that many have dreamed of and the chance to enjoy not just one but two stories.
Both Sumeragi and Randall have a destiny that intertwines them, but the only way to unveil their entire past is by playing with each of them, giving a full experience of the game twice.
If you’re still not sure whether to pre-purchase the game with free gifts like skins and accessories, give the demo available for Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One a try.
Let’s go to anime
When it comes to the anime that complements ‘Scarlet Nexus’ it could not have fallen into better hands than the Sunrise animation studio, the same ones who handled ‘Hanyou no Yashahime: Sengoku Otogizoushi’.
The series is scheduled to begin its transmission in the summer season of 2021 in Japan, an ideal date, since the game will go on sale globally on June 25.
The streaming service Funimation will take care of its distribution in the West, with the simulcast mode, which means that we will have each episode just a couple of hours after its launch in Japan.
The same platform offers the physical versions of the ‘Scarlet Nexus’ video game in pre-purchase, an opportunity that you cannot miss if you want to be the first to know its entire history.
