A couple of days ago the open beta of Chivalry 2 ended, it left generally positive feelings since the problems arose due to connection failures, something that we assume that Torn Banner Studios will be able to solve for the next launch of the game or in the next few days .
The game as such has received very good comments from those who tried it, especially for the feeling of war and violence that it gives off. Precisely that essence is what the launch trailer of the game gives off with catapults, mass battles, gore and much more.
The battles arrive
As you should know by now, Chivalry 2 is played as a hack and slash in the first person where we control a soldier participating in battles of the medieval era, there is no fantasy, magic or dragons so it is a character with a sword, shield and armor fighting others in similar conditions.
The other relevant feature is that there is a very complete character editor, it is one of the things most demanded by players today and Torn Banner Studios meets an editor with many options to be able to represent us in a battle effectively.
The saga as such debuted in 2012 with the aspiration of being a minigame that was devised with a Half-Life 2 mod. However, the project grew enough to have a very loyal community. This second installment is definitely much more ambitious with lobbies of up to 64 players to be able to enjoy the most chaotic battles of all against all.
In the same way, we remember that there is a more “normal” 40-player mode where the battles are army against army and you have to collaborate with others. Additionally, there is crossover play across all platforms, so there are few excuses not to play co-op.
Chivalry 2 will arrive on June 8 and will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC (Epic Games Store).
