The studio behind Left 4 Dead (with Valve) has shared a new trailer of his zombie killer that will arrive in October on all platforms. This time we have to talk about the characters and the occasional enemy that they showed for a couple of seconds in a new trailer that makes the tone of the game clear.
There are many undead games out there and this one has chosen black humor and a lighthearted tone that will clearly appeal to more people. This is not a survival horror, but a first-person shooter with a lot of action, explosions, hordes of enemies and, above all, cooperative play.
Characters and characteristics
The trailer is narrated by Holly, one of the 8 characters that make up the group “The Cleaners”, who set themselves the goal of recovering the world after the debacle that led them to this zombie apocalypse. The characters and their characteristics are as follows:
Walker, war veteran, man of few words and the one who does the most damage, as well as the most life (HP) he brings to the team; Doc, the team medic and with above-average healing and protective abilities; Karlee defines herself as a survivor who manages inventory better than anyone and who improves everyone’s speed; Jim is an amateur sniper who became an expert during the apocalypse, his ability allows him to mark the weak point of enemies.
Then we have Hoffman who uses explosives and is prepared for the apocalypse before it happened, provides ammunition to the team. Finally we have Evangelo, Mom and Holly herself. The former has more stamina and speed than this being the youngest while Mom grants an extra life to the entire team. Holly leaves herself for last, brings more resistance to the whole group and is the character who resists the most damage.
This is the team that will try to save the world starting October 12 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC
