The Prince of Persia Development Team has announced via Twitter that his project will not be shown in the next E3 2021, so we will have to wait longer to see the new look of this remake. Recall that the title was leaked a year ago and then it was officially presented with a date for January 2021.
However, the trailers received very harsh criticism for their graphics, Ubisoft delayed the game a couple of months and showed more polished images of the graphics, but ultimately decided to delay the project indefinitely. With the arrival of E3 2021 they were expected to show a preview of the title, but it seems that the restart of development has been almost complete.

It won’t be at E3
Especially since we had already seen gameplay a year ago, we can assume that if there is nothing to announce or show this year, there have been many changes. Therefore, the project does not look good, although we hope to be wrong, the Prince of Persia is one of Ubisoft’s best-known franchises and one of the most important in the industry, so much is expected of its return.
As you may have read, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake will not be in Ubisoft Forward. We are making great progress for our game to launch next year, but we are not yet ready to share any additional information. We will share an update as soon as we are ready. ”
The Ubisoft Forward will take place on June 12 and, while it is confirmed that Rainbow Six: Extraction will be shown in all its glory, now it is also confirmed that Prince of Persia: Sand of Time Remake will not. We hope to see the prince in 2022 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
