We already have the first teaser of the following operator and its update that will be called “Crimsom Heist”. We don’t know anything about the operator yet, except that he wears a hat, wears dark glasses and appears to be wearing a coat. We know this thanks to the last tweet from the official Rainbow Six Siege account that shared a GIF with the character.
There is not much animation in this GIF, the character is not the one that moves but some particles that accompany it. There is little to interpret in the image, so the players were dedicated to making jokes about the appearance of this character who, as someone said, seems to be the owner of a store that only sells typewriters.
Relaxed discussion
On the other hand, Reddit talks about his resemblance to Daredevil and one of the abilities leaked by dataminers. However, this leak may not be related to this new operator as it was called “explosive drone”, and this does not seem the type of characters that use drones.

Ubisoft hasn’t mentioned what else is coming in this first season of Rainbow Six Siege’s sixth year. We have only had one operator per season for a while, as the game team believes it is important to address bugs and balance adjustments that can ruin the experience rather than adding new content.
Under this premise, it is expected that Crimsom Heist, which means “Crimson Assault”, will arrive with a redesign of an existing map and with balance adjustments. The good news is that there is not much time left to clarify what will happen since the final reveal with all the details will be on February 21.
Rainbow Six Siege is still in a good moment, it is one of the most successful shooters of the generation and the saga awaits the arrival of Rainbow Six Quarantine (which will most likely change its name) between the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022.
