Easter eggs are something that users in the video game industry love. Having references related to some of our favorite titles is always a lot of fun when venturing into a title.
Most of the easter eggs are discovered in a short time by the users most committed to the titles. However, in some cases there are some Easter eggs that are never discovered and we get to know about them because the developers themselves talk about them.
The most recent of them is Uncharted 4, a highly praised Naughty Dog title that includes, according to animator Jonathan Cooper, an Easter egg related to Assassin’s Creed. Cooper commented that the easter egg is about very Assassin’s Creed-style sync animations.
A fairly hidden easter egg
Cooper believes that no one found this reference because for the animation to come out it is necessary not to touch the DualShock 4 for a few seconds in a certain area of the game. Once the animation is displayed, we can see Nathan Drake standing on top of a clock tower very much in the style of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed.
This animation is very similar to the one seen in Lost Legacy, but what was not known to date is that it was also present in this installment of Uncharted. In case you want to activate this easter egg, we indicate that it is available in chapter 11. When you reach the main door it will be necessary to go around it to the right and cross the ledge, jump to the pillar and then climb up the side of tower.
There is no doubt that these types of details invite players to return to enjoy their favorite games in order to unlock these secrets that have eluded them for so long.
Added Assassin’s Creed synchronizations in both Uncharted games I worked on but hardly anyone found the one in Uncharted 4 because you need to not touch the controller for a few seconds… https://t.co/GYXVJehj90 pic.twitter.com/NP9jiVTFJ3
