A few weeks ago we informed you that The Last of Us 2 was already the most awarded game in history. This means that Naughty Dog’s entire effort was rewarded by the excellent receptivity of both the press and the community in general. Now we know that a user found an easter egg from The Last of Us 2 in Uncharted 4, another of the study’s great games.
This easter egg is a pill bottle that could confirm that both games are in the same universe. The information was revealed by the Reddit user Kheinrichs547, who discovered this pill bottle at the Weston Pharmacy, the same one that can be seen in ‘The Last of Us 2’.
This pharmacy has several references within The Last of Us, including the Left Behind DLC in which we can explore part of the history of Ellie and Riley and their adventures in a shopping center in which we can also see the pharmacy. This is the second reference to The Last of Us in Uncharted 3, so both franchises have their history and this confirms it.
A very interesting easter egg
Naughty Dog’s original plan was to announce The Last of Us prior to the release of Uncharted 3, but this was delayed. Despite this delay, the in-game reference was maintained, so reading in a journal that there was a mysterious infection must have been very revealing for users at the time who later played The Last of Us.
The truth is that this type of detail is always very well received by the user community who are delighted to see how their favorite games have references within other titles. We remind you that The Last of Us 2 and Uncharted 4 are titles available exclusively for PS4.
